invite you to a unique celebration of Montana’s support for our military, Honoring the commanding officers of two namesake nuclear-powered fast attack submarines, the USS HELENA SSN 725 and the future USS MONTANA SSN 794,

You’ll also be able to meet crew members from these two nuclear-powered fast attack submarines. The HELENA, a Los Angeles Class boat, was commissioned in 1987 and has served with distinction during and since the Cold War. The MONTANA, Virginia Class boat under construction in Newport News Virginia, will be commissioned into the Navy fleet in 2021, bringing leading-edge technology to defend our nation
for thirty or more years into the future.
