Job Description
Westaff is seeking a Carpentry Foreman for a local company in Hall, MT! Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm Term: Permanent Pay: $30-$40/hour DOE Responsibilities: Lead and supervise a team of carpenters on commercial construction sites Interpret project plans and specifications to delegate tasks efficiently Coordinate with project managers, Superintendents, and other trades to ensure project timelines are met Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations on site Train and mentor carpenters on best practices and techniques Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance Lead and motivate a team of carpenters to achieve project goals and deadlines Resolve conflicts and address any issues that may arise among team members Delegate tasks and assignments to carpenters based on project requirements and individual skills Foster a collaborative and cohesive team environment by encouraging open communication and teamwork Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets project requirements and industry standards Manage materials and equipment needed for each project Maintain tools and equipment, and ensure they are used properly Supervisory Responsibilities: Overseeing the daily operations of the carpentry team Ensuring work is completed efficiently Maintaining a safe and productive work environment Qualifications: 3 years of proven experience as a Carpentry Foreman in commercial construction Proficient in carpentry tools, rough and finish carpentry. Thorough understanding of commercial construction processes and techniques Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Certification in carpentry or related field preferred Working Conditions: Extensive airline and automobile travel required (Up to 3 weeks per month) Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather. Engage in hands on carpentry work Must be able to lift 100 pounds Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines Requirement for various physical positions such as sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, walking, and driving Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other business machines Interested?
