Julie Ludtke is the owner and principle designer of Boxwoods Inc, a retail fine furniture, linen and design shop. The store and the homes in Helena that she has been a part of emulate her passion for timeless design. Julie opened Boxwoods in 2003 after working as a Project Manager for a large contractor for four years. There she honed her skills as a kitchen designer and her abilities to manage new construction choices from the ground up. As she broadened her services to include all aspects of interior design she saw a need for a local source for quality furniture that could be customized to fit anyone's style. Boxwoods was opened after years of planning and research as a fine furniture store. Boxwoods has evolved into a full service design store carrying several large brands of custom order furniture, linens, fabric, rugs, lighting and accessories along with gifts. Julie and her staff continue to search out new product lines and designs by traveling to several furniture markets a year. The showroom is always stocked with new and interesting finds sure to evoke inspiration for customers. Julie also works with many local designers, architects and contractors to make the store available as a resource for the trade. Most importantly, Boxwoods strives to make good design approachable for everyone.
